A joyous celebration exploring the vibrant musical make up of a beautiful country. Direct from Havana, Cuba and exclusively for summer 2024, world famous, Grammy-award-winning vocalist, Mayito Rivera will be joined Tristan Butler y Timba Británica. For over two decades, Mayito Rivera was the lead vocalist for Los Van Van and with his virtuosic range and creative improvisations, became known as ‘El Poeta de la Rumba’ (the poet of the Rumba). Alongside a 15-piece Latin orchestra expect intricate, groove based arrangements of modern Cuban Salsa to soundtrack the bank holiday weekend. This event does not feature a performance by Los Van Van. This event is not in association with Los Van Van.
