Chiminyo Presents: NRG 5 + Vandorta After the storming successes of the first 4 editions of NRG at 91 Living Room and Ronnie Scott’s, Chiminyo brings his improvised, live recorded album concept to Peckham Levels as part of the 2024 London Jazz Festival. Bringing together some of the finest electronic and jazz musicians in London, they present a night of improvised groove & spontaneous energy (NRG). Charlie Stacey (Keyboard/Synths) Kaidi Akinnibi (Saxophone & FX) Oscar Jerome (Guitar) Rudi Creswick (Bass Guitar) Magnus Mehta (Percussion) These guys have toured the globe many times over and released music under their own names/projects and alongside many esteemed musicians, including the likes of Gary Bartz, Yussef Dayes, wizkid, Blue Lab Beats, Shabaka Hutchings, Nubya Garcia and so many more! So you know this is going to be a pure-fire night not to be missed. Remember to bring your finest NRG (energy) as these gigs are recorded and released on Chiminyo’s label NRG discs.
